In May 2011 a European Union law was passed stating that websites that leave non-essential cookies on visitors' devices have to alert the visitor and get acceptance from them.
What are Cookies, and why do we use them?
A 'cookie' is a file in your web browser that enables us to recognise your computer when you visit the site. Cookies are used by many websites to help collect information, such as how many people visit and return to the site, what products are being bought, and to make certain parts of the site function properly.

We use cookies allow us to count page visits and traffic sources so we can measure and improve the performance of our site, using a service provided by Google Analytics.
